The well-being of the children in our care is Priority #1. Learning can begin only when children’s basic health and
safety needs are adequately provided. That’s why we take measures to meet and exceed regulated health and safety standards at our centers.
We take care to comply with local licensing agencies and health departments so that ourpolicies and procedures align with evolving state regulations and best practices. Staff members follow strict cleaning and disinfecting routines for toys, surfaces and common areas. We follow Illness exclusion policies that are in line with state regulations, and medication administration policies that ensure proper dosage, documentation, and parental consent.
Proper nutrition is essential for children’s growth and development. As a parent, you want to make sure that your child is getting the best possible nutrition, even when they are away from home. That’s why it’s important to choose a child care center that prioritizes healthy eating habits and provides access to fresh, organic foods and milk to fuel their growing bodies.
Our on-site chef prepares nutritious meals and snacks that are not only delicious but also meet the dietary needs of young children. Weekly menus are well-balanced and include a variety of foods from all food groups in portions aligned with the USDA MyPlate Guidelines. We are a peanut-free facility, offer vegetarian meal options, and can accommodate specific dietary/allergy restrictions with medical documentation. Food is handled and prepared safely, and teachers and staff closely monitor feedings and mealtimes to prevent mealtime hazards.
We go the extra mile to create and uphold an upstanding level of safety and security for our families and staff.
Staff and children are educated on safety protocols and perform emergency preparedness drills that are conducted throughout the year. These include fire drills, tornado drills, medical emergencies, and intruder drills.
All staff are First Aid and CPR certified and receive training on topics such as Safe Sleep Practices, Medication and Chemical Safety, Child Abuse and Awareness, and Maintaining a Healthy Environment.
